The newly released Intel® Xeon® 6 processor is designed for demanding cloud environments, using the latest I/O and memory technology, supporting up to 8 DDR5 memory channels and 64 CXL 2.0 channels, achieving comprehensive improvements in performance, efficiency, security, and quality. Compared to the previous generation Intel® Xeon® processors, the performance per watt has increased by 2.4 times, and the rack density has increased by 2.5 times. Based on a shared hardware platform and common software stack across high-performance and energy-efficient cores, the new Intel® Xeon® 6 processors provide the flexibility to meet customers' varying needs for energy efficiency and performance, enable easy development, deployment and management, and help customers dramatically improve energy efficiency and achieve energy savings.
H3C launched two new products based on Intel® Xeon® 6 processor, the flagship of general computing H3C UniServer R4900 G7 and Density Optimised Server R4700 G7, which help enterprises accelerate digital transformation with more diversified, efficient, and intelligent computing power.
The H3C UniServer R4900 G7 is balanced in computing performance, expansion capability, and reliability, making it widely applicable to general computing scenarios, including cloud computing, virtualization, distributed storage, and enterprise resource planning, suitable for typical applications in various industries such as Internet, carriers, and enterprises.

H3C UniServer R4700 G7 is optimized for high-density computing, providing powerful performance per unit space to meet the stringent requirements for balancing performance, energy efficiency, and density for a variety of workloads, and can be widely used in general computing scenarios such as database, virtualization, and VDI.
