What is disaster recovery
Disaster recovery system refers to the establishment of two or more IT systems with the same functions in different places far apart, which can mutually monitor the health status and switch functions. When one system stops working due to an accident (such as fire and earthquake), the whole application system can be switched to the other one so that the system can continue to work. Disaster recovery is an integral part of the high availability technology of the system. The disaster recovery system focuses on handling the impact of external environment on the system, especially the impact of catastrophic events on the whole IT nodes, and provides node-level system recovery.
Introduction to SRM disaster recovery
SRM technology adopts two independent virtual clusters in different places to asynchronously replicate the VM configuration and storage data from the production site to the backup site. When the production site fails, the business system can be switched to the backup site within minutes through a one-click switchover.
