Railway is a national strategic, pioneering and critical major infrastructure, a national economic artery, a major livelihood project and the backbone of the comprehensive transportation system. Its status and role in economic and social development is crucial. Improving enterprise productivity and operational efficiency cannot be achieved without the leadership and support of informatization. Without informatization, the railway modernization cannot be fulfilled. As the new space and power of development, informatization is an important carrier and a means to build intelligent railroad and realize railroad modernization.

(1) 5G-R

As the strategic direction of new infrastructure of the country, 5G is an important issue in the 14th Five-Year Plan period. As a leader in digital solutions, H3C relies on Tsinghua Unigroup to provide railway customers with most 5G products and solutions from terminals to chips. H3C 5G products are mainly focused on indoor and outdoor base stations, bearer networks, edge clouds, 5G cloud security, UPF, 5G-WIFI and devices such as traditional network, security, computing, and storage. In the railway industry, H3C focuses on decentralized scenarios of 5G base station coverage, 5G bearer networks, edge computing and business scenarios that require 5G-WIFI to exist simultaneously.

H3C provides more new 5G scenario solutions for railway customers and fully supports the construction of 5G-R dedicated network for railway.

(2) All-in-one information integration platform - cloud data center

The railway data center adopts two-level cloud data center deployment of the State Railway Group and the Railway Administration, which can meet the need of railway service application systems to allocate resources on demand. The State Railway Group level data center forms the headquarters cloud, and the Railway Administration application data center forms the Railway Administration cloud. H3C can provide railway customers with a full range of cloud-network-security converged data center solutions. Through SDN and traditional networking, network resource pools are formed to meet the flexible deployment of service applications and achieve on-demand supply of network resources, agile deployment, and elastic scaling. By building a unified cloud platform, it realizes full integration and sharing of software and hardware resources in the data center, real-time sharing of information and data, automatic and rapid deployment of service systems. It also provides strong support for railway informatization construction.

(3) Next generation IP integrated data network

As the bearer network of many communication systems, the railway communication data network not only needs to be of high reliability, high performance and scalability, but also needs to be of intelligence and automation. H3C has been serving railway communication data network system for 13 years, and the iterations of devices and technologies fit more into railway systems. While meeting the demand of current railway services, it adopts smart technologies, such as service visibility, automatic O&M, and traffic scheduling, to provide advanced technologies and devices for the development of railway communication and to better serve railway customers.

(4) Classified security protection

As the railway informatization applications continue to deepen, and the informatization and service start to integrate deeply, the classified security protection is becoming particularly important. The classified security protection for network is the basic system, basic strategy and basic method of national network security protection. Carrying out classified security protection for network is the fundamental guarantee to protect the development of informatization and maintain the network security. H3C is deeply involved in the Standard for Classified Protection of Cybersecurity 2.0. As a core vendor to participate in the preparation of the Standard, with comprehensive security compliance top-level design capabilities, H3C can provide a full range of compliant solutions, security products and services for various railway information systems, assisting railway customers in safe operation of various important railway systems.
