Changbaishan Scenic Area
The Changbaishan scenic area is a national 5A level tourist destination, named after the white pumice and snow on the main peak of the Changbaishan mountain, which is known as "the first peak on earth with thousands of years of snow and pines". In Jilin Province, there is a 365-kilometer leisurely walking system that circles Changbaishan. It is a part of Jilin's slow traffic system and Changbaishan's "Smart Tourism," with the purpose to build a resort town with Wi-Fi connectivity on all paths. The leisurely walking system in Changbaishan will provide free public Wi-Fi coverage for the public bike paths and walkways around Erdao Baihe Town.
H3C was selected to build a free public Wi-Fi network for the Changbaishan leisurely walking system. In the first phase, the network covers about 13 km of leisurely walking trails, along which 90 802.11ac outdoor APs will be deployed. Adapting to the freezing climate and year-round extremely low temperatures of Changbaishan, these APs provide wireless Internet access for scenic spots along the trails.Future visitors can easily install the "Wireless Changbaishan" application client via SMS or WeChat authentication to receive news and business information and wireless location application by following the "Wireless Changbaishan" WeChat official account. In addition, a larger range of Wi-Fi coverage will be offered during the second and third phases of Changbaishan's "Smart Tourism", which also include plans to construct a big data analysis platform and an application platform for smart tourism. These places will include museums, high-speed railway stations, bus terminals, and other public areas as well as slow paths.
