To adapt to the cloud computing architecture and the principles of network connectivity, cloud-based deployment and server room disaster recovery as the guidance, Shandong Gold Cloud Data Center adopts SDN technology-based AD-DC solution to build an intelligent network, to realize the unified centralized management, resource control, integrated scheduling and O&M services for new and existing pooled resources, as well as on-demand distribution of computing, storage, network and security resources. The solution lowered the construction cost of the new data center by more than 20% and increased resource utilization by 30%, facilitating the digital transformation of the Group's existing services.

Data center O&M and security capabilities have been upgraded. In order to support the effective implementation of AD-DC solution, H3C Group adopted the high-end cloud computing data center switch S12504X-AF in the upgrade of Shandong Gold Cloud Data Center, which has advanced CLOS+ multi-level multi-planar orthogonal switching architecture, as well as high-density 100G/400G switching performance and rich cloud computing features, based on the "Native and Intelligent" capability. It provides strong support for the deployment and implementation of SDN solution, and can intelligently receive relevant policies issued by SDN controller and realize automated data processing, without competing with business virtual machines for computing power, making the control of network environment more stable.
