H3C scored a share of 26.5% in China’s network management system (NMS) market during the second half of 2021, ranking first for five consecutive years since 2017, according to China ITUO (IT Unified Operations) Software Market Tracker (2021 H2) report by the International Data Company (IDC). The ranking fully demonstrates H3C’s strong technical performance in network management.
With over a decade of experience and deep insights into enterprise network management, H3C has developed iMC (intelligent Management Center), which overturns traditional fragmented management model by integrating comprehensive management capabilities with network infrastructure, flexible topology, and powerful hardware and software configurations. H3C’s iMC allows users to perceive network performance and changes the protocols for dealing with network faults from passive response to active prevention, bringing stable and reliable assurance for network management.
Based on cloud-native architecture with flexibility and extensibility. Built on a containerized unified digital platform, iMC facilitates large-scale device management, multi-user concurrent operation and horizontal expansion of functions, which can greatly improve the speed of system deployment and upgrade, flexibly respond to the continuous expansion of network scale and the trend of integration of network O&M, management and control, and analysis functions. The solution makes the network more resilient and keeps the business running smoothly.
AI-enabled “All on One Dashboard” tool to check network status. Powered by AI technology, iMC can make a business-oriented cloud-to-terminal network visible, manageable, and optimizable, in a move to centralize the management of multi-type and multi-vendor network devices, while streamlining and automating the display of device data and operation status, fault alarms, traceable network configurations, and administrator privilege settings, all of which serving to greatly improve the efficiency of IT O&M. Moreover, the platform enables centralized visualization of the overall network communication, device performance, network delays, and traffic data. It also supports dashboard displays and customized interfaces, enabling IT managers to have an “all on one dashboard” tool to check network status and make informed O&M decisions.
It is crucial to keep the business running steadily on the path to digital transformation. In the cloud & AI-native era, H3C believes that we need to make the network not only manageable and controllable to ensure the continuity of key businesses, but also responsive to upper-layer applications through technical integration with upper business and unified deployment, finally to realize cloud-network unified management and control and unified O&M, towards a higher level of “Autonomous Networks”. H3C’s application-driven network (AD-NET) solution is a ground-breaking innovation in this field. Integrating the network management, control and analysis, the solution, on the one hand, can make the network suitable for upper-layer applications to realize the synergy of on and off cloud functions catering to flexible expansion requirements, while, on the other hand, it enhances all the elements of AI to support network optimization and fault repair for business continuity. As a key part of the network management, control and analysis integrated system of the AD-NET solution, iMC continues to innovate in terms of data granularity, data analysis and intelligent alerting of network O&M. With powerful platform capabilities, the AD-NET solution can be deployed and updated to better meet the needs of future business development and transformation, making the network truly a new driving force behind the digital transformation of enterprises.
Adhering to the Cloud & AI Native strategy and catering to the ever-changing market demand, H3C will put into practice the idea of making the network automated, self-optimized and self-hosted, enabling existing networks to become more intelligent to create new infrastructure for the growth of the digital economy.
