H3C Unlocks Dramatic Potential for Innovation at ASLAN 2022 in Spain

Madrid, Spain, May 18, 2022 — On May 18, the 29th edition of the ASLAN 2022 Congress & Expo kicked off in Madrid, Spain. Themed “Together, For A Digital Future”, H3C made its debut at the event with key scenario-based solutions and latest products, demonstrating its outstanding capabilities to local customers and partners.

The annual industry event, which is under the theme of “Digitalization Is Future” and organized by Association of Suppliers of Network Systems, Internet and Telecommunications (ASLAN), is dedicated to digital innovation across intelligent networks, cloud services, data centers, artificial intelligence, 5G and other key technology sectors in Spain. As the first on-site event since the beginning of the pandemic, the exhibition brought together 125 exhibitors and over 7,500 professionals from around the world.

The ICT sector was one of the fastest-growing sectors in Spain over the last decade and digitalization is a strategic factor in transforming the production model and stimulating economic recovery in Spain after the pandemic.

In 2020, the Spanish government launched the Digital Spain 2025, the country’s initiative for reducing the digital divide and roadmap for digital transformation. According to the plan, the investment of a total of 140 billion euros would be allocated to drive the acceleration of digitization across both the public and private sectors.

The Spanish government’s commitment to digitalization is strong, as highlighted in the Spain Digital 2025 Strategic Plan, which features specific strategies to promote technologies that are crucial for Spain: 5G, cybersecurity, Big Data and AI. Also per indicated in the plan, Spain is well placed to consolidate its role as an international connectivity hub, with international telecommunications networks connecting the country, directly, with four continents, an electricity network of the highest quality and a privileged geographical location for being the digital gateway to Europe.

The strong support of the Spanish government has paved the way for the country’s huge strides in digital transformation in recent years, with rapid progress taking place across all aspects including digital infrastructure and e-government. As digitalization is penetrating into all spheres of society, the resulting challenges and opportunities are coming along. In support of the national plan, H3C has rolled out key scenario-based solutions with an emphasis on resolving the pain points around digitalization efforts. In the education sector, innovation in digital technologies has unleashed new potential for educational equity in Spain. At a special interactive zone onsite at ASLAN 2022, H3C exhibited its cutting-edge technologies and products in a scenario-based set-up. In addition, H3C also showcased a series of high-performance networking products including MSR 1004S-5G series routers and campus switches.
