H3C recently won the bid to provide low-end routers and switches for China Mobile, with its contract value ranking first among that of all the seven winning bidders in the tender for the carrier’s 2022-2023 centralized procurement of low-end routers and switches.
H3C has always been a leading supplier of mid-range and low-end routers and switches. Its routers and switches that won the recent bid were developed on the basis of the company’s ComwareV7 operating system, to which it owns independent intellectual property rights. All the functions of these products were specially designed to serve network devices. They support various types of ports, including high-density 10GE and 1GE ports, and can be used in different locations of networks. Meanwhile, these products support online error correction (ECC mechanism) of representational storage on chips, online diagnosis of link quality, and response to FIFO overflow detection and protection. It’s worth mentioning that H3C’s domestic R&D team has full control of the source codes and design technologies concerning these products, which boast carrier-grade high reliability that reaches 99.999%.
