H3C recently attended the 2021 China SD-WAN Summit held in Beijing, and won the Enterprise of the Year Award and SD-WAN Best Practice Award at the event. Wang Bin, Vice President of H3C and General Manager of H3C’s intelligent management and operations product line, delivered a speech at the summit, analyzing the trends and challenges of Software Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) and sharing H3C’s technological innovations and practices in Application Driven Wide Area Network (AD-WAN).

SD-WAN Needs Continuous Exploration and Innovation in Cloud & AI Native Era

In the cloud & AI native era, WAN (Wide Area Network) is turning into an architecture centered on cloud, Wang said. As customers in various industries push ahead with practice regarding WAN, their demands for relevant products and services have been continuously stimulated, according to him.

SD-WAN faces new challenges in such aspects as technical architecture, business experience, operation, maintenance and management, and exploration of new business models, Wang said. Only through continuous exploration and innovation can SD-WAN providers keep up with the times, he noted.

Adhering to the core principle of Application Driven Network, H3C launched its AD-WAN 6.0 Solution this year, the new-generation SD-WAN solution based on cloud & AI native architecture.
