September 24, 2021, Beijing – Global revenues of H3C’s enterprise wireless local area networking (WLAN) business grew by an annual rate of 16.2% in the second quarter of 2021, accounting for 4.8% of the market according to the International Data Corporation (IDC) Worldwide Quarterly Wireless LAN Tracker. As a result of the continued growth, H3C maintains its top spot in China’s enterprise WLAN market for the 12th consecutive year, as well as taking the fifth spot in worldwide rankings.

Despite the lasting impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the global enterprise Wireless LAN (WLAN) market showed strong growth in recent months across all regions, especially in Asia, according to analysis from IDC. For H3C, the strong momentum of its enterprise WLAN business in China – which has seen a year-on-year rise of 57.9% – has provided a significant boost to its overall performance. The company’s overseas business has also benefitted from recovering demand for workplace networking services as the pandemic eases in certain countries and business begins to recover.
