MWC Shanghai 2021 Insights: to Promote Integrated 5G Development and Connectivity, and Boost New Progress of Industrial Internet

Li Li, President of Solution Department and Vice President of H3C recently shared his ideas on the prospects of the digitalization of the manufacturing sector in the era of Industry 4.0 while attending the IoT Summit of the MWC Shanghai 2021, which was launched on February 24.

He also introduced H3C’s perception and experience of integrated 5G innovation and the promotion of the industrial internet, comprehensively explaining the role and value of 5G in the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry.

H3C promoting in-depth integration of 5G and industrial internet

Li Li noted, 5G networks, which came at a right time, is an important direction for the development of the communication industry nowadays, and the industrial internet remains a technical pillar for a new round of industrial revolution. Both the two of them make up a vital force driving the digitalization of the economy and society, he added.

When 5G networks is widely deployed and applied, the synergy between 5G and industrial internet will be further accelerated in the following eight scenarios, including smart supply, remote collaboration, intelligent inspection, remote maintenance, auxiliary assembly, precise control and visual inspection, consolidating the foundation for the transformation and upgrading of smart manufacturing.

H3C has always been committed to exploring new technologies, scenarios, and modes of 5G-industrial internet integration, as a way to cope with new challenges and problems faced by the industrial internet amid the sector’s skyrocketing development, leading all-round innovation from plants to the cloud.

It further expanded the product lining of 5G industrial switches and 5G CPE (Customer Premise Equipment), combining business processing and 5G protocols at the terminal end. Besides, H3C also built an integrated field network in which 5G and Time-sensitive Networking (TSN) is seamlessly connected.

At the same time, H3C is also focusing on the integration of 5G and existing networks in the factory networks, so as to support different types of work loads with different network technologies and realize unified deployment, management and maintenance of network connection.
