H3C at MWC Shanghai 2021: Deepen 5G Cloud Network Integration and Open up a New Era of BtoB Business

MWC Shanghai 2021 themed “Connected Impact” officially kicks off in Shanghai, China on February 24. Participants from more than 100 countries witness, both online and offline, the new trends, opportunities and development of global communication industry.

Han Zhigang, Co-President of H3C was invited to attend the “5G Network Summit” held on the same day. Digital transformation speeds up: BtoB business drives carriers’ business growth

In the foreseeable future, the “New Infrastructure” Initiative represented by 5G networks will accelerate the digital transformation and upgrades of all industries, and bring them new opportunities and new momentum. According to the survey by TMF Group, a BtoB consultancy firm, by 2029, 71.5% of carriers believe that BtoB business will contribute more than 50% of their business revenue, and it will drive their business growth in the next decade. In his speech, Han Zhigang said that in the 5G era, it has become a strategic choice for carriers to give full play to advantages of the networks, build digital business platforms integrated with cloud network, and create differentiated competitiveness.

Cloud and network integration: H3C builds new value of 5G networks

Compared with the 4G era, 5G network will see at least 10 times of traffic growth, so ultra-wideband technology will inevitably become a feature of 5G network development. On the one hand, the network will be able to achieve a wide range of connections through the fully compatible and ubiquitous wireless connection capability, more open connection mode and more comprehensive connection protocol; on the other hand, it will be able to carry a variety of applications in different scenarios, such as the Internet of things (IoT), the campus backbone core network, the data center and the wide-area backbone network, through the super bearing performance.

Meanwhile, cloud network integration entails higher requirements for the flexible adaptation and dynamic scheduling capabilities of the network, and the most simplified network deployment became the inevitable trend for cloud network integration. Network simplification is divided into protocol and architecture simplification. “SRv6 plus EVPN” will become the mainstream standard of 5G bear-network protocol simplification to improve the capabilities of network multi-domain cooperation and quality assurance. On the other hand, separations of network and businesses, as well as transfer and control, and other frame upgrades will further reshape the network frame simplification, setting the bear-network of fixed-mobile network integration the key point of carriers’ future network construction.

In addition to ultra-wide band and simplification, the integration of intelligence and network will accelerate network evolution in both businesses and networks.
