H3C Explores Government and Enterprise Market Together with China Mobile

H3C, a core strategic partner of China Mobile, has recently shared its innovative 5G network technologies and solutions, and showcased its achievements in and practice of deep integration into the government and enterprise market at the China Mobile Global Partners Conference 2020.

During the event, leaders from China Mobile acknowledged H3C's innovative practice in the government and enterprise market, and praised it for facilitating the integration of 5G into industry scenarios and assisting China Mobile with business transformation.

Tony Yu, President & CEO of H3C, attended the conference and also a meeting for key partners of China Mobile during the event. Yu had in-depth discussions with Yang Jie, Executive Director & Chairman of China Mobile, and other leaders and cooperative partners of the corporation on industry trends and prospects for cooperation.

Focusing on the needs of carriers like China Mobile, H3C has brought into play its technological strengths and advantages to back China Mobile in the large-scale construction of mobile cloud, network cloud and IT cloud. The company and China Mobile have jointly carried out many projects aiming for innovations and technological breakthroughs in the construction and operation of fixed networks and mobile communication networks, facilitating China Mobile's 5G network architecture and DICT (CT, IT and DT) business transformation targeted at government and enterprise market.

Over the years, H3C and China Mobile have maintained sound cooperation in areas such as core basic networks, innovation in integration of cloud and network, as well as DICT. H3C's high-end routers, IT cloud infrastructure and security products and solutions have been comprehensively applied in China Mobile's IP networks and construction of cloud resource pools.

H3C has also worked closely with China Mobile in many key areas of the government and enterprise market.

At the sub-forum on 5G-empowered new smart cities of the conference, H3C was awarded the honorary title “excellent partner for construction of new smart cities in 2020”, which represented China Mobile's trust in and recognition of H3C's competence in the field.

H3C displayed in its exhibition booth at the conference its innovative solutions and projects in sub-sectors including government, healthcare and education. While highlighting its 5G private industrial network solutions that feature integration of cloud resource pools, network functions, and industry applications and accommodate the concerns of government and enterprise customers, H3C also demonstrated its capabilities to implement relevant deployment for these solutions.

With the large-scale construction and commercial use of 5G networks, H3C and China Mobile have carried out comprehensive cooperation in the field. The company, together with China Mobile Research Institute and China Mobile Zhejiang, has completed the first pilot application of a 5G small cell in the 4.9 GHz frequency band in industrial scenarios.

H3C’s CR19000-20 Core Routers have also been applied in the backbone networks and metropolitan area networks of China Mobile.

H3C will continue working closely with China Mobile to build open and integrated 5G networks and innovate services for government and enterprise customers through diversified cooperation models, thus injecting stronger momentum into the efforts to enhance its strength in digital technology.
