H3C and China Telecom Jointly Exhibits 5G-based Telemedicine Solution at 2020 CHINC

H3C, together with China Telecom, exhibited an innovative 5G-based telemedicine solution at the 2020 China Hospital Information Network Conference (CHINC) launched recently.

At the CHINC, H3C also joined a sub-forum on “5G-Enabled Smart Healthcare” held by China Telecom, and attended an inauguration ceremony of a cooperation project for the carrier’s cloud medicine ecology.

The two parties announced that they would keep deepening cooperation on 5G-enabled smart medical services, build integrated end-to-end 5G-based telemedicine solutions, and proactively propel the integrated applications of 5G in the medical industry.

The H3C-China Telecom cooperation on 5G-based telemedicine came right on time as the outbreak of COVID-19 this year further underscored the value of public health system reform and the application of smart medicine.

The 5G-based telemedicine solution jointly exhibited by H3C and China Telecom at this year’s CHINC, which is a result of both parties’ technical merits and experiences, has built an underlying structure featuring cloud-network convergence. It supports enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB) transmissions, low-latency and high-quality connection, as well as Mobile Edge Computing (MEC).

The solution is able to offer different types of services for the applications of smart healthcare, such as diagnosis guidance, remote control, sampling monitoring, and hospital management. Besides, it also facilitates medical innovation with integrated operation system and security guarantee system, so as to provide comprehensive digital support for various clients such as large healthcare organizations, primary-level healthcare centers and health commissions.
