Bank of China is one of the top 4 commercial banks in China, and ranked as 18th in “The Bankers” magazine published in the UK in 2005 in “The Top 1,000 Banks in the World”. H3C provides Bank of China with 10GE switches, MPLS, MPLS VPN, VPLS and IPv6 and other new services, advanced security and flexible network upgrade.
ICBC is China’s second-largest state-owned commercial bank, with branches all over the world. H3C offers a multiple services solution so that all financial systems, the OA system and VoIP function can be integrated into one IP-only infrastructure. The H3C AR series products are used to access various financial terminals, including the PoS terminal, the business terminal and the ATM terminal.
China Construction Bank was founded in 1954, with branches in 38 provinces and cities. The Hebei Branch owns one of the 17 national backbone networks. It had started province-wide POS business, call centres and IP banking, owning 21,000 network centres for its organization, over 9,000 sets of ATM and 260 total functions self-serving banks. H3C’s high-end routers are chosen as the 1st and 2nd level backbone routers.
As one of the four largest state-owned commercial banks, the Agricultural Bank of China (ABC) is an important component of China's overall financial system. Recently, ABC appointed Huawei-3Com (H3C) as the sole IP network provider for its National Data Centralization WAN Project. This is the largest Wide Area Network (WAN) project in the finance industry in China, and is a milestone for the cooperation between H3C and ABC.
