"With the increasingly wide application of wireless networks, the number of mobile Internet users increases linearly and mobile data is multiplied exponentially. For industries including campus, medical care, trade and commerce, convention and exhibition, hotel, and wireless city, the wireless market features huge demand, high requirements and quick response. As the leader of digital solutions, H3C has stuck to independent R&D and maintained the top market share in enterprise-class WLAN in China for 11 consecutive years from 2009 to 2019. As of October 2019, the shipment volume of its WLAN products (APs) has exceeded 10 million.
Since the formal establishment of the WLAN R&D team in 2000, H3C first released the 10 Gigabit wireless controller WX6100 and the first enterprise-class WA2600 in 2008. In 2014, it first entered the Gigabit era based on 802.11ac. H3C Group has been continuously enriching and improving its wireless product solutions that represent the entire industry. It has launched multiple types of base stations, including indoor base stations, indoor distribution systems, and outdoor integrated smart macro base stations. Besides, it has released the industry's first high-performance AP based on the 802.11ax standard and the high-performance wireless controller series. For the above products, H3C has also launched several supporting devices such as Gigabit PoE+ access switches as well as diverse smart antennas and landscaping antennas. Therefore, the current wireless network, with a transmit rate of 100 Mb/s, an uplink rate of 1000 Mb/ and a core speed of 10000 Mb/s, can create more network value through the integrated convergence of wired and wireless networks in the world where mobile Internet is growing rapidly.
Wireless solutions cover a wide range of industries. For example, the high-density coverage solution for places with high personnel density, mobile campus dormitory terminator solution in the big data era, smart medical zero-roaming solution, commercial Wi-Fi wireless positioning solution, and wired and wireless network integration solution, are all targeted solutions that can solve the problems of different scenarios. In this Internet+ environment, the H3C oasis IoT platform can also provide the exclusive O2O service platform for service providers, agents and terminal manufacturers in the wireless ecosphere.
In addition, H3C is among the few manufacturers who are involved in the formulation of the IETF WLAN standard in China. In this standard, the two RFCs (RFC5833 and RFC5834) that define the MIB standard for wireless network management will further improve the wireless network standard system and promote the development of WLAN applications. This is another progress made by H3C in the field of WLAN standards, which fully reflects the positive efforts and achievements of H3C in the formulation of international and domestic standards.
H3C has always followed the product R&D concept of ""focusing on quality and smart sensing"" and maintained the fullest technical communication and cooperation with all types of users worldwide. It has put forward dozens of ""cloud-terminal interconnected"" wireless application solutions and has successfully applied them to the National Center for the Performing Arts, National Library of China, National Indoor Stadium, Beijing Capital International Airport, Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics, Expo 2010 Shanghai China, Guangzhou International Finance Center, Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital, Hangzhou Metro, the University of Hong Kong, Peking University, Fudan University, Cuiwei Department Store, SOGO Department Store, Haidilao, Midea Group, Naqu Logistics Center, State Grid Sichuan Electric Power Company, PetroChina, and Sinopec. Large-scale deployment of over 10000 devices (for example, Gome Electrical Appliance, Jiangxi Normal University, and NECC (Shanghai)) has also increased every year. In terms of major events, H3C has provided reliable wireless networks for two consecutive Wuzhen Summits for World Internet Conference. H3C is working with the government and operators to build over 80 wireless cities including Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Jinan, Changsha, and Lhasa, practicing its concept of ""high-quality wireless, supreme details and pursuit of excellence."
