This software is the firmware upgrade program for WXBJ FF network card version 0x30003000.

Installation steps

Linux OS

1.Log in to the system with an administrator account.

2.Upload the corresponding firmware file ****.img, signature file ****.sig and wxtool_x86 firmware upgrade tool to the system and place them in the same directory.

3.Execute chmod +x wxtool_x86 to grant execution permissions to the firmware upgrade tool.

4.Execute the ./wxtool_x86 -F ****.img command, select the type of network card to be upgraded, and start upgrading the firmware.

5.After the upgrade is complete, please power cycle the server by disconnecting and reconnecting the AC power. Then, boot into the system and execute ethtool -i ethX to verify that the firmware version has been successfully upgraded.

Problems Solved

1.Fixed the issue where, during online firmware burning, if the process was interrupted and the system rebooted halfway, there was a probability that the device could not be found. (Requires wxtool version 3.7.7 or later.)

New Functions

1.Add the ptos submodule.

2.Modify the flash NVM area.

3.Add support for 25G and 40G network card OEM IDs.

4.Move part of the content from the img NVM area to the header area.

1.Fix the problem that the mac address of lldp message is all 0.

2.Fixed the problem that the ncsi cmd 0x15 pci id information was incorrect and the out-of-band ome cmd could not read the quad.

3.Optimize the firmware unlocking process to solve the driver reporting SWESMBI Software EEPROM semaphore not granted error.

4.Improved the handling process after smbus tx timeout, fixed i2c/smbus scl anomalies.

1.Added ncsi oem command to obtain VPN PN command.

2.Added dbi read and dbi write serial port commands.
