1.3  Upgrade restrictions and guidelines

The current upgrade tool only supports upgrading on Windows computers and MAC computers. When upgrading, please directly plug the TypeC screen adapter into the computer. Do not plug or unplug the screen adapter during the upgrade process. Plug and unplug the pairing after the upgrade is complete.

1、 Usage Restriction: This software version is compatible with product device model TC01.

2、 Restrictions and guidelines

·              Please use a device that supports DP signal output through the TypeC port.

6  Open problems and workarounds

6.1  Legacy issues of V 4.0.240925 version

1. The screen caster failed to connect to the big screen, and the projector light did not blink red.

·              Symptom: Connection failure between the transmitter and the large screen, projector light does not blink red

·              Condition for problem occurrence: When the screen transmitter connection fails

·              Workaround: Check if the hotspot on the large screen is open and retransmit the screen, with subsequent optimization.

2. BYOM audio and video out of sync

·              Issue Description: When casting, initiating a video conference while using BYOM microphone and speaker, the sound is 1-2 seconds slower than the video (supported on Android)

·              Condition: Simultaneously using BYOM microphone and speaker

·              Workaround: Switchover computer speaker, manually switch to UDP protocol

3. When duplicating the screen, the sound is about 2 seconds slower than the picture.

·              Issue Description: On Windows large screen devices, when casting, the sound is delayed by about 2 seconds compared to the video.

·              Condition for the problem to occur: Poor network connection and the use of TCP protocol

·              Workaround: Manually switchover to UDP protocol

7  List of resolved problems

7.1  Version 4.0.240925

1. There is a casting device in exclusive large screen mode, win PC/Mac cast by Typec casting device, software pop-up shows casting in progress, casting device blue light is on

2. Tencent Meeting uses BYOM microphone to call the big screen microphone, resulting in significant audio delay.

3. Tencent Meeting has a delay of about 5 seconds when using a BYOM camera.

4. teams meeting using BYOM camera has a delay of about 8s

5. Zoom meeting using BYOM camera has high latency

6. Unable to cast via the projector, the projector is not compatible with the V1.3.0517 receive (Rx) end version.

7. Compatible with WiFi 6 network card
